BMES Houses

Starting in Fall 2022, BMES is introducing new houses! We are focusing on two elements to foster more community and a sense of healthy competition within our group. Points will be awarded on multiple fronts including points awarded to members that attend certain general, social, and outreach meetings. The more meetings and socials that you attend during the year the more likely you are to collectively win the prize at the end of the year!

Below is a list of individual goals and points that each house can achieve:

Industry House

  • ​Work towards Company Tours

  • Become a BMES National Member for more connections / opportunities

  • Work with you team leaders for resume advice and practice interviews

  • More students at career fair = more points

  • Work towards National Conference

  • Become a BMES National Member for more connections / opportunities

  • Attend undergraduate research synopsis with your house

  • More students in research = more points
